Awesome mixed in my facial moisturizer!
After months of waiting for the stock to be replenished I promptly bought a bottle of this. It's supposed to be healing for people with liver problems and more effective than vitamin A pills. Dr. Oz has been recommending retinol cream to rejuvenate the skin & reverse & prevent wrinkles. I did search for months for a retinol cream without chemicals I came up empty handed, both at iHerb and elsewhere. I decided to mix my own: I put one half drop of this onto 1/4 of a dime size dollop of cream and mix it on the back of my hand then apply to my face. The results are instant and amazing! It makes my skin incredibly velvety soft and toned (not "taut", but I have no loose skin). One weird thing happens: I am left with little opaque crystals that look like white out residue. Weird! Maybe I should try a different cream. It took me 3 days to dare to try it under my eyes, as I did a search and landed on forums with horror stories of people using retin-A and waking up with their eye skin ruined overnight by wrinkles! So I'm careful to use very little as it can cause wrinkles; in fact, I first dab some oil on my eyelids and then this mixture and then finish with some more of the plain cream. My skin glows and over all gives me this really nice look. As for ingesting it orally, I do so in a little water and it has no taste but I think I prefer my regular vitamin A as that has instant eye vision restoring benefits. This is a very small (1oz) bottle but only 1 drop is needed internally and only 1/2 for the face so I figure this will last me a few months. I hope they don't discontinue this high quality product and that iHerb keeps on carrying it. However it would be nice to know where the retinol comes from: lab manufactured? Fish liver? Or...?

A pure vitamin A product with no harmful additives.

Posted by thenourishedlife on Oct 25, 2012

I've been called a supplement queen, but to be honest, I've always been concerned about the fillers and additives in my vitamins. I mean, your digestive system can only handle so much! NutriSorb is a great option for supplementing vitamin A because it has no harmful fillers and allows you to regulate the dosage very closely--when taking vitamin A for thyroid and skin health, it helps to be able to get the dosage just right, which can change depending on the season, etc. I use a few drops in my coffee or juice in the morning. You can definitely taste it if you use too much!

Very handy when you want just a small amount of vit A, and all the softgels have too much.

Good form of Vitamin A for those with digestive issues

Posted by Reviewer3101973 on May 09, 2012

I like that this is a more easily absorbed form of Vitamin A for people who have issues with digestion of fats. I know it is working because my normally insatiable craving for orange vegetables containing beta carotene for vitamin A has disappeared since I've been taking it.
