Jarrow Formulas Goat Milk Protein is an all natural protein from free range goats not treated with hormones or antibiotics. The goats are raised on pastures that are grown without the use of any chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.
Jarrow Formulas Goat Milk Protein is minimally processed to maintain the integrity of the protein. The partial fermentation of the goat milk protein with probiotic bacteria (L. acidophilus, L. bulgaricus and B. longum) enhances the digestibility and assimilation of the protein.
The essential amino acid profile of goat milk makes it a complete protein. For children or people with weak digestion, goat milk has been traditionally recommended as an alternative to cow milk.
Mix 1 heaping tablespoon of powder with 6 oz. water, juice or your favorite beverage. Can also be blended with yogurt and fruit to make smoothies.

Good product. Tastes better and dissolves better than Garden of Life's Goatein.
Sadly, I found the taste of this rather disgusting. The smell was promising - vanilla - but the taste, all powery, chalky and with a nasty under-taste that must be the goat protein. Just not nice. If it was blended with fruit etc in a smoothie I'm sure it'd be fine, but I don't have my protein drinks that way, I like to just have them mixed with rice milk as that is easiest and best for my needs, but that did not work with this powder at all. Got slapped with customs for it too, but that's just the luck (or not) of the draw. So, the search for a palatable protein drink continues!

this has a delightful vanilla scent; it mixes easily and is certainly an economical protein source. The taste is as bland as can be, so it would probably go well in a smoothie (I drink it mixed with coconut milk). I am lactose-intolerant but had no problems digesting this product. For most people who have difficulty with cow milk this is probably a good alternative. I believe that nutritional supplements saved my life. I've tried a lot of products, and I know what works and what doesn't. My reviews are honest, straighforward, and based on my experience. Read my other reviews to quickly learn from my three decades of research and experimentation.
No bitter aftertaste

I've ordered other goat milk proteins before but they had a bit of a bitter aftertaste. I like this as it has a smooth, creamy taste with no bitterness and no added sweetener. I can add my own sweetner if I desire.

Didn't think I'd like this as much as I do.

Mix this with rice protein powder and almond milk with extra stevia.
