Jarrow Formulas, IronSorb, 18 mg, 60 Capsules34 Reviews
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

Take 1 capsule per day with a meal or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.
Cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide. Capsule consists of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.
Contains: Milk (casein).
No wheat, no gluten, no soybeans, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts.
Note: IronSorb is a very stable product, and its color naturally ranges from tan to dark powder (granules).
Note: If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, lactating, or trying to conceive, under the age of 18, an adult male, a post-menopausal female, or taking medications, consult your health care practitioner before using this product.

iHerb Customer Reviews
I have tried many different forms and brands of Iron due to anemia, I was not as satisfied with this product due to intestinal bloating.
Suggest not taking ferric iron at all - or take with vit C to help avoid inactivation of key enzymes (e.g. tyrosine hydroxylase). IPS is designed to get through the stomach unchanged to be absorbed in the duodenum - while it's not much casein, suggest it might be ample for sensitive systems - OR - something else about that IPS 'delivery system' is a bit much. I had mixed results taking this - few OK, others not (e.g. major discomfort with repeat but occasional use only), regardless of what I ate/took with it - I find ferrous sulphate less problematic. If you tolerate the casein/succinylate, studies support this form 'decreases both the prevalence and the duration of adverse events without prejudice for the clinical efficacy' (from one study re IPS vs ferrous sulphate). However - there are also studies that show persistent, unresolved iron deficiency responds to manganese - another strategy worth invesigating, especially if there's a history of medications/herbs that affect liver chemistry/function, including liver 'cleansing'.
