I've used at least five different magnesiums. I always buy the low dose variety so that I can spread them out over the course of the evening. Also, I usually rise in the middle of the night and I find magnesium sometimes helps me get back to sleep. This one seems to work the best. I have less trouble with insomnia since I've been taking this product.

While I'd prefer magnesium taurinate with additional magnesium, this'll do and it's cheaper! Currently I take magnesium for general health and to keep migraines at bay. Though I'm not sure how much the magnesium or taurine does for migraines, I do know that my supplement regimen (key: butterbur extract, product: Migra-Eeze) and some care about dietary triggers has almost eliminated my migraines, which I was getting almost every other day. Now, often a tisane of bay leaves and ginger will do what it took 800 mg ibuprofen and 1.5 g acetaminophen, or sometimes an Imitrex or two, to do before. The headaches are milder and rarer and shorter. Magnesium plays some part in this. The price and brand are right.

Maybe a cure for A-Fib!,

When used in conjunction with Calcium Citrate, this Jarrow formula of magnesium, potassium, and taurine seems to dramatically limit Atrial Fibrillation episodes. There's something about this formula that also minimizes loose stools, even though I take 6 of these tablets a day. Unlike prescription A-Fib drugs (which don't work for me)there are no noticeable side effects.
