Methylcobalamin (Methyl B-12) is better absorbed and retained than other forms of B12 (e.g., cyanocobalamin). I really like Jarrow products, typically. But this made no difference, when cheaper formulas did. I read other reviews. Since July, other customers have remarked the formula (and bottle) have changed.
Jarrow has changed the formula and it doesn't work so well any more.
Need a Boost, Get The B-12 Shot

I wasn't sure that I wanted to use this at first, we did get it for our son, then I tried it along with other herbs but this one B12 boost is one that I look forward to when I get home at the end of the day. It will perk me up without the need for coffee of which I only have 2 cups a day, no more. My "boost" is this from 4-10:30pm I'm rocking out the things I need to get done.

It is the right form of B12 for easier absorption but don't take it if you are are already taking in the wrong form (check your cereal), it's a waste of money.
Jarrow b12 is the best!
