Jarrow Formulas Organic Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) is expeller-pressed from the dried flesh (copra) of the coconut palm fruit, and does not utilize any solvents in the manufacturing process. Coconut oil is a source of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), such as lauric acid (C-12) and caprylic acid (C-8).
Coconut oil is stable even during long periods of storage. Because its melting point is 75-76°F, coconut oil can be used in both liquid or solid forms for cooking and baking.
100% expeller pressed, organic, coconut oil.
Contains: Tree nuts (coconut).
No wheat, no gluten, no soybeans, no dairy, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts.

I buy another brand of extra virgin coconut oil to use for supplement and cooking purposes, and I got hooked on the great cooking properties of coconut oil. However, the extra virgin has a strong coconut taste that you do not always want in your food. This oil is also fantastic for cooking and as a butter substitute, for half the price and without the coconut taste. I will continue to buy both, I think each has their purpose.
it tastes & smells like oil that went through an old dirty machine... I wouldnt go for this, go for extra virgin, organic, cold pressed coconut oil, its totally worth the little extra money :)

Would definitely buy this again. I use it for both cooking and oil pulling and it's neutral flavour lends perfectly to both of these!

This is one of the worst coconut oil i've ever had. And I bought two because it was cheap. Now, i just use it to rinse my mouth as the taste doesn't really taste like coconut oil.
