This normalizing shampoo gently cleanses and nourishes to minimize dry, flaky skin build-up on the scalp. Australian Tea Tree Oil, known for its anti-bacterial and anti-fungicidal properties, is combined with Grapefruit Extract and protein to purify and fortify hair follicles while soothing Calendula, Hops, Sage Extracts and Wheat Germ Oil, helps relieve discomfort of itchiness. Gentle enough to use every day, hair is soft with added volume, luster and manageability.
Born in 1959, Jason was one of the first to offer natural products without harsh chemicals. For over 50 years, we have delivered wholesome, no-nonsense, natural products that happen to really work. Our products don't contain petrolatum, sodium lauryl or laureth sulfates (SLS), parabens or phthalates. And we never test our formulas on animals. We invite you to try our entire line of safe, effective, body-loving products.

iHerb Customer Reviews
After 1/2 bottle, my dandruff (resistant to salicylic acid, coal tar extract, zinc-p, you name it) is gone. Hair shedding (falling out, post-pregnancy) and breakage are gone as well. I will continue to use this for the rest of my life! Thank you for a great product and great service. Carol Ann-NY
5* for the shampoo, but only 3* for its ingredients. The Jason Natural Treatment Shampoo leaves my often oily hair feeling soft and clean. This shampoo has a lot less toxic chemicals in it compared to traditional shampoos, however I was disappointed to find that it still rated 6/10 on EWG's (Environmental Working Group) website due to containing Retinyl Acetate (Vitain A acetate) which isn't good for you. Stops the itch but very drying

No itch after using however the product is incredibly drying. Even with using copious amounts of the accompanying conditioner and a leave in oil treatment afterwards didn't help prevent the drying!
