- Natural, Hypoallergenic Skin Care with No Animal By-Products or Synthetic Detergents
- Healthy, Beautiful Skin Since 1839
- Pure Botanical Coconut Oil Soap
- Ultra Gentle with No Drying Residue
Since 1839, Kirk's master soap makers have formulated this hypoallergenic skin care bar with all natural coconut oil. Unlike other national brands, Kirk's Original Coco Castile contains no animal by-products that can irritate sensitive skin. No synthetic detergents, like sodium lauryl sulfate, either.
Kirk's makes handfuls of rich creamy lather even in the hardest water. Yet, it rinses with thrilling ease and no drying residue. Skin is left beautifully soft and healthy. Ideal for every member of the family, by the sink or in the bath. Kirk's is biodegradable and never tested on animals.
Coconut soap, water, vegetable glycerin, coconut oil, natural fragrance.
This contains palm oil and the company that regulates where the palm oil is sourced is considered unreliable. So companies cannot know where their palm oil is sourced even though they make the claim. This is important because palm oil production is driving orangutans to extinction. So I switched to Kiss My Face olive oil soap, which I ended up liking better anyway.
This soap has a great natural smell and foams really well, even better than products with synthetic foaming agents such as sodium laureth sulfate. I like that it has a minimum of ingredients and the price is affordable.
Not good for homemade laundry detergent

I've tried several times to use this soap to make my own laundry detergent. FAIL! Better stick with Fels-Naptha. Stick to using this as a bath bar soap.

Muy suaves, con olor exquisito. Perfectas para limpiar el rostro y brochas de maquillaje.

My wife had recommended this soap ages ago. Just recently she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, and is trying to go as chemical free as possible. She also has extremely sensitive skin. We finally found this soap at a great price and will be purchasing again and again. It's soft, it has a great lather, and it doesn't irritate your skin. Great product!
THE soap for hard water!!

After years of putting up with wimpy suds from other (more common) brands, I discovered Kirk's and have never looked back. We are on a water well in Central Texas-the land of limestone- and our water is still pretty hard even after going through the softener. Kirk's lathers up like you are using rainwater and it is a natural product to boot. I even put chips of Kirk's into my shaving mug along with my shaving soap to get better lather-try it if you are a mug and brush guy with hard water!
I LOVE this product!

This soap is so gentle on your skin, but yet it gets you clean. It is especially nice to use in winter when your skin is already drier than usual. This soap doesn't seem to leave your skin feeling all tacky either like some soaps do. It seems to rinse off better. I really like that this soap is all natural and so gentle that you could even use it on a baby. I think this soap has been around for about 100 years and there is a reason for that. It works!
