Highly Recommended for Arthritis Swelling and Pain,

After 10 month on NSAIDs with severe swelling and lack of mobility in my knee due to advanced osteoarthritis, this product has been the first "breakthrough" after many trials with other alternative therapies. The concentration of AKBA, the active anti-inflammatory component of Boswellia, is ten times that of standardized Boswellia extracts. There is another proprietary product on the market with an even higher concentration of AKBA, Boswellia 90, but that product was actually TOO concentrated for me. I highly recommend this product!

I don't really have any major inflammatory problems, but it's mechanism of action (5-lipoxygenase inhibition) is unique. Advil (ibuprofen) and Aleve (naproxen) are all COX-1/COX-2 inhibitors.
There's some other herbal anti-inflammatory that doesn't have any unique properties (is also a COX-1/COX-2 inhibitor) -- I don't think that taking this would be any more helpful or have fewer side effects than taking ibuprofen.
It's pretty inexpensive, so you don't have much to lose. Definitely worth a try if you suffer from any inflammatory condition (e.g. osteoarthritis).

I have tried most natural pain killers. This is the ONLY one that reduced my knee pain. It works as well as Celebrex. It takes about 3 days to kick in. I take 2 caps in the AM and 2 caps in the PM. Recent studies with 5-Loxin used a higher dose than 75mg per day.

this 5-loxin is a great fix for inflamation...I do muscle testing and can tell when my problem is inflamation..test the inflamation point! and fix it with 5-loxin..love it...
