Discussion: A rich, amber colored oil from the ripened fruit of the rose known as hips. Contains natural Retinol Acid (Vitamin A) and is well sought after for helping to replenish and restore mature or sun-exposed skin.
Apply 2-3 drops onto fingertips and massage into cleansed, dry skin. Also can be used as a general body oil or a nourishing hair and scalp massage.
Organic rosa mosqueta (rose hip) seed oil (99%), tocopherol (vitamin E) antioxidant to preserve the freshness of the oil.
Caution: For external use only. Not for internal use. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation, redness or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a licensed health care practitioner.

I have use rosehip oil for a few years and tried different brands. This is about the same as others, which is good. However, I saw some people gave one star for below reasons: don't like the smell, don't have rose smell.. First, it is cold pressed from seed, so you can't expect a seed to have rose smell. Secondly, a natural product won't always has nice smell, furthermore this is carrier oil not essential oil. If don't like the smell you can add pure essential oil into it. We can complain because of low quality, does not suit s etc, but please don't complain because of our own ignorance. If you like synthetic fragrance smell, then natural products are not suitable for you.
I am from Australia and have been using Rosehip Oil religiously for the past 5 years, this oil is on par if not better than Trilogy and Akin. It is the best value oil that I have come across it sinks into the skin and does not interfering with moisturizer used after oil application. I love it and cannot live without this oil. I work in the aviation industry and have dry skin, this oil helps with hydration and pigmentation. By far the best Rosehip Oil Iherb has to offer.

I really like this! It doesn't leave my skin sticky which is good. Not sure about people with dry skin, but for people with combo to oily skin I find this product quite good. A lot of the reviews said smell was an issue, but I find the smell quite nice. I think is has an earthy smell, definitely does NOT smell like petrol, dead fish or spoiled.
Wish I had tried this years ago

I have suffered from acne and blockage prone skin for most of my life (since my early teens) and having tried all kinds of potions, supplements, etc etc etc I was basically resigned to having it for ever. However I'd also read a lot about the underlying causes of acne and blocked pores (the composition of the natural oil in the skin is off, making it too 'sticky' which combined with abnormal shedding of skin cells forms blockages in the pores) and came across a lot of references to rosehip seed oil which supposedly contains the oils that are missing from the skin's natural oil. So I gave it a try and after a few months of use I can say it's little short of miraculous. My skin is now completely clear 99% of the time which is amazing. In fairness I should say that my skin was never absolutely terrible, but it was definitely bad enough to be a nuisance (as in, it was rare to have no spots at all and I nearly always had a lot of clogged pores). Important note - it does seem to make a difference which brand you use. Luckily I started off with this one, then one time it was out of stock so I tried another - and it didn't work so well. Now I make sure to keep stocked up on this one!
