Live Live & Organic, Natural Sunscreen, with MSM, SPF 30, Orange, 7 oz139 Reviews
Expiration Date: Jul 2016
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
Shipping Weight: 0.53 lbs (0.24 kg)
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

The Best sunscreen in the world! Protect your sensitive skin the healthy way.
As a single ingredient, zinc oxide is the broadest range sunscreen on the market. Both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide have a long history of safe use as a sun block and cosmetic ingredient. They are not irritating and more compatible with sensitive skin than chemical sunscreens. In fact, zinc oxide is a skin protectant and anti-irritant, and is widely used in treating various forms of dermatitis/skin irritation, including diaper rash.
A note about the Orange Oil in our formula:
Most people are not aware that there are two kinds of orange oil - sweet orange oil and bitter orange oil. It is bitter orange oil that can cause photosensitivity if applied directly on skin in its undiluted, concentrated form. We use sweet orange oil in our sunscreen. Small amount of it that we use for fragrance (about 2%) is safe and does not cause photo sensitivity. According to some sources, essential oil of orange has mild anti-inflammatory properties and can be used as a topical agent to help calm skin inflammations and irritations, as well as itching due to bug bites, poison ivy or poison oak.
A note about Vitamin A in our formula:
The esters from essential fatty acids in vitamin A need to be converted to retinoic acid before being active and photosensitive. In addition the vitamin A in our synergistic formula is coated with peptides which further reduces a possibility of photo sensitivity. Also, please note that there are various forms of vitamin A.
Vitamin A does have a few benefits: it helps to protect the skin from free radical damage, helps speeding the cell renewal process, minor burns and scrapes, and also helps reduce wrinkles and stretch marks.

iHerb Customer Reviews
This is the best sunscreen ever! I tried Weleda and Dr. Hauschka, the other organic sunscreens, but they are way too oily! This LIve LIve one goes on easily and doesn't leave your skin greasy. And if you see the ingredients list, it's a pretty simple one, which i really like. i use it under make up and it's great! I hope iHerb will always have this product!
I've tried dozens of different sunscreens, and this is my favorite so far. It goes on super smooth, no whiteness at all, and within a few minutes it's completely absorbed into your skin. Haven't tried it under the harsh sun, but i think there's a review or two from people who said it protected very well. One thing i wonder is if they plan on removing the Vitamin A from the product, considering the current questions over it's safety in sunscreen. Hopefully they do.
