Sweet Dreams Organic Brown Rice Syrup
Our brown rice syrup is a healthful and allergen-free alternative to other sweeteners. Substitute rice syrup in place of sugar, honey, corn syrup, maple syrup or molasses. Bake with it, pour it over ice cream or pancakes, or stir it into your coffee or tea. Try it in energy bars, muffins, cookies, fruit salads, smoothies—it's great in just about everything.

To substitute sugar, use 1 1/4 cup rice syrup for one cup of sugar, using 1/4 cup less of another liquid needed in recipe.
Organic brown rice, pure filtered water.

Brown rice syrup gives less of a sugar rush than sweeteners like sugar, honey, and maple syrup, and it has a gentle, somewhat malty taste. I've found it better to follow actual recipes that contain brown rice syrup as an ingredient, rather than substituting it in other recipes. We use it make a healthful version of fudge, by heating and stirring together 1 cup of the syrup with 1 cup of Arrowhead Mills organic peanut butter over medium-low heat for a few minutes, removing from heat, then adding 1 cup of 60% cacao chocolate chips, and stirring until they're incorporated. Stir in gluten-free (or other) crunchy cereal to add texture, if you like, or leave plain. Press down into pie plate, let cool, and store in the fridge. Yummmmmmy!
For people who have to stay off of sugar...this is a great product. I dilute it with water. I pour 1/2 into another jar and fill each jar with water and then microwave them for 2-3 minutes and stir and shake and then it is pourable and I use it on cereal and in coffee. I use the product as it is for baking too. Go to Lundberg's Websight for recipes...or substitute in place of honey. Loretta

I ordered this product to use in a new recipe for healthy nut bars. The Organic Brown Rice syrup "made" this recipe! No other product could be replaced in my recipe.

I love the brown rice syrup! I use it as a substitute for sugar in my baking recipes. The jar was sealed and I love the freshness of the syrup!

I'm not kidding myself that this is a healthy food, but it is a little better than sugar and is exactly what I was looking for in a maple syrup substitute. It's about half the price of maple syrup, tastes wonderful and is not overly sweet. It's thick and coats my pancakes beautifully, doesn't drip down the sides of my toast, like honey, golden syrup and maple syrup do. It spreads nicely on buttered toast and the combination of crusty toasted wholewheat bread, salty butter and brown rice syrup tastes like lightened sweetened popcorn. Yummy!! Rice malt syrup

This is a great brown rice malt syrup. The taste isn't too strong and it is thick and rich in quality. Store in the fridge if you live in a humid climate - I live in Singapore and my brown rice malt syrup went mouldy in a matter of weeks.
