Be Good to Your Heart!CocoCardio is a Premium, 100% Natural (Non-Alkalized) Dark Cocoa beverage which contains Rapid Zone Dried Beet Juice Powder and concentrated Full-Spectrum Water-Soluble Hibiscus Extract.
Cocoa (Theobroma cacao -- a.k.a. "Food of the Gods")
Our Certified Organic, Non-Alkalized Cocoa Powder has been made to exacting standards. "Natural Process" Cocoa retains higher levels of naturally-occurring Polyphenols compared to Alkalized (Dutch Process) Cocoa.
Note: The More Polyphenols, the More Bitter - Which is Better!
Beet Roots contain Betalains (Richly Colored Pigments with Antioxidant Properties) and a host of other Phytonutrients, including naturally-occurring Dietary Nitrates.
Our Hibiscus sabdariffa full-spectrum water-soluble extract containing naturally-occurring Anthocyanins, Phenolic Acids and other Bioactive Phytonutrients.
Simply add 1 scoop to 4-8 ounces of warm/hot liquid (preferably pure water) and stir, adding the desired amount of natural sweetener. (Please note that this product is naturally quite bitter due to its naturally-occurring polyphenol content, but may be used unsweetened if desired).
Organic natural (non-alkalized) cocoa (theobroma cacao) powder, organic rapid zone dried beet juice (beta vulgaris) powder, concentrated hibiscus sabdariffa (calyx) extract.
Due to the 100% natural ingredients in this product, taste, color & consistency may vary.
Double safety sealed, with outer shrink wrap film and inner bottle freshness seal. Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.
This product is packaged by weight, not by volume.
This whole-food based blend was not formulated to be 100% soluble in liquids. Naturally-occurring sediment is normal.

I consume one scoop every morning at breakfast and it keeps me energetic the whole day even if I am lack of sleep the previous night. I don't add table sugar as it is anti-nutrient. If you want to make it sweet, you may add some RAW UNPROCESSED honey. In addition to CocoCardio, I am also taking fish oil, spirulina and nattokinase and I have written reviews for these products as well. You are welcome to check them out on my product review page (good-day).
Madre Labs is one of those brands I usually test, when there is a sale going on. “CocoCardio” happened to be on sale, and it’s currently priced for only $2.95. I’ve seen plenty of iHerb regulars advertising CocoCardio and Cafeceps for newbiews, and that is mostly because of Iherb offering higher commission from iHerb products to them. Anyways, back to the product: When there is a “warning” that the Cococardio may not taste the best without extra sweetener, that should ring some bells. :) I doubt there is anyone who like this product unsweetened. CocoCardio is way too bitter, and it taste like a mix of cocoa and berry juice. Powder doesn’t mix in well, and the color isn’t the most tempting. I didn’t like the taste either. With $2.95 it’s hard to suggest this product to anyone. Maybe if you want the health benefits of it. You could try to mix this with smoothies and such. Good thing that iHerb has these sales, so the poor folks like me can try various health products. If you are bouncing between this and CafeCeps, I’d go with CafeCeps instead. :)

This is another good Coco-product which I use after stopped with black coffee. So in these days I ususally make a coombination of CocoCardio and CocoCeps - CocoCardio is full of antioxyidants and anthocyanins, full od phenolic acids and other phytonutrients. I think that cocoa in this combination make me happy and feel good, I feel like my endorphynes go up and I do not to drink so much coffee that I used to drank before, I also do not feel hungry, I am full of energy. I think it is good for all burn-out people and also for the group with heart problems.

I bought this product for a full price after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, this product is the WORST cocoa powder I have ever tried. what a waste of money.

If I could give this zero stars I would. they tell you in the listing that it expires in 2016 that expiration date is NOT listed on the product itself only the manufacture date of 07/2013. The product is non-refundable. so good luck getting your money back. I didn't even want my money back I just wanted product that was manufactured, in at least, 2015. Worst customer service ever!
