The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Oatmeal is a good source of fiber. It contains no salt or cholesterol and is naturally low in fat and saturated fat. One serving of oatmeal contains only 2.5 g total fat.

McCann's Quick Cooking Irish Oatmeal

- Soluble fiber from oatmeal, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. One serving of oatmeal supplies 1 gram of the 3 grams of beta glucan soluble fiber necessary per day to have this effect.
For Each Serving:
Bring 1 cup water to a boil. Stir in 1/2 cup McCann's Irish Oatmeal. Cook 1 minute over medium heat or until thickened. Stir regularly. Cover and remove from heat. After a few minutes, stir and serve.
For Each Serving:
Add ½ cup of McCann's Irish Oatmeal to 1 cup water in deep microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir before serving.
Note: As microwaves are different, cooking times may vary.
For thicker oatmeal use less water.
