What is Shirataki Pasta?
Known for its health benefits for 2000 years in China and Japan, Shirataki is made from the root of a plant called the Konnyaku Imo.
Shiratakl is made only from the soluble fiber of the plant, as such it only contains a healthy soluble fiber known as glucomannan. Since it is only made of soluble fiber, it is remarkably low in calories.

Miracle Noodle is a small family business dedicated to providing the highest quality non-soy traditional shirataki on the market.
Cooking Instructions: Drain water out of the package and rinse the noodles in a colander for 30 sec. Add the noodles to lightly salted water and boil for 2-4 minutes. Drain back into colander and then place the noodles in a skillet on medium heat to remove the excess moisture, then add sauce or add to your favorite recipe!
Refrigerate after opening.

have been using shirataki noodles for a while, and I'm VERY pleased. I used these in a garlic sauce, and that worked very well :) For other dishes I stick to the regular kind, though. Keep in mind that these taste best in noodle-style dishes, they don't do great in traditional pasta recipes.
I rinse in very hot water, and drain for a minute, add sauce and voila! I don't miss pasta (trigger food)!
