What is Shirataki Pasta?
Known for its health benefits for 2000 years in China and Japan, Shirataki is made from the root of a plant called the Konnyaku Imo.
Shiratakl is made only from the soluble fiber of the plant, as such it only contains a healthy soluble fiber known as glucomannan. Since it is only made of soluble fiber it is remarkably low in calories.

If having lots of gas is your goal, then these noodles are a miracle! Opening the package made me nauseous, but surprisingly, they didn't taste bad after they were prepared according to the directions. Everyone's digestive system is different of course, but I'm glad no one's sitting next to me right now.
It is filling, without all the unnecessary carbs. You cannot really taste the spinach. Click on my username for more reviews! If you thought that this review was helpful please feel free to press the 'yes' button.

There's no use complaining that it's nothing like real pasta and has no flavour because it's NOT PASTA. So as long as you don't expect it to be and take it for what it is it's fine...if you follow the instructions exactly it stays firm and edible, if you expect or try to use it as though it's the real deal then expect to be disappointed. As with everything calorie-free (or close to) it's good for what it is.

Absolutely awfull!! I hated it. I must say that I'm not picky and that I eat pretty much Everything. But those pasta right here were one of my worse food memory I have ever had: First of all there are absolutely tasteless! I was warned and I cooked them with a very tasty wok mix (vegetable, soy sauce) but even with that they remains tasteless: it was like eating unflavored jelly with a sandy undertaste... I was very weird actually. I would never tried such things again.

When I get my package, the noodles had melted! No idea how that is even possible, but the packege was just full of green goo.
