I'm so happy I switched to Caprotein!,
January 18, 2009
From California
I had been taking Goatein for about 5 years and had been happy with it, until a few months ago when I began to notice that within minutes of drinking my daily shake I would feel very tired and often needed to lie down. I usually ordered 2~4 jars each time, and I hadn't noticed that the Goatein formula had changed, until I came across that info on another website. After reading the added ingredients and new process, I was shocked (guar gum?! yikes!). Geez! No wonder it was hitting me like a bomb.
I immediately searched for alternatives, and discovered Mt. Capra's Caprotein. I've been using it for about a month now and have not experienced any weird side effects like those caused by Goatein'n new formula. As always, I make my shake with coconut milk, banana, one tablespoon of goat milk protein, and a little Carlson's Finest Fish Oil. Delicious!
I'm thrilled with Mt. Capra and back to feeling good again. Yay! Thank you Mt. Capra for keeping your product pure and wholesome. :)

Switch to goat protien! Im serious. Its so much more efficient than whey from cows. You can feel it revitalize your body and build muscle faster. Dont worry about the price, you'll get more out of a pound of goats milk than you would out of two pounds of regular whey.

Best Source of Protein--Here are Some Tips!,
December 30, 2008
From California
Come on people--this is such a superior form of protein, to get a better taste (the first complaint I read), just mix with Greens Today, Organic Frog, Women's Whey Formula or 1/2 of your favorite less-superior, better-tasting protein powder and you have a great-tasting protein drink to start off your day! To get the Caprotein to mix (the other complaint being that it doesn't mix well), just put a small amount of water (or whatever liquid you are using) in your shaker bottle with your powder, then shake well. After that, add the rest of your liquid and shake. You should have a well-blended drink. Here's to your health and well-being!

rich vanilla flavour, not sweetened so you need to add your own sweetener if you want a typical protein powder taste. nice to have an alternative to whey. recommended

good flavor for those who like the taste of goat. This is my 1st time, so I am still getting used to it by mixing 1/2 scoop in with almond milk. Good source of protein. Goat milk & fermentation are easier on the body to digest.

I love the taste, which is mildly goat milky. If you hate goat milk you might not like this. It makes smoothies fluffier and richer and is nice mashed with ripe bananas.

great product happy goats,

From Great Britain
Best whey protein I've found - keeps my blood sugar rock solid all morning. I much prefer the mild goat-milk flavour to the stronger milky flavour of cow's milk whey - if you like goat's cheese, yoghurt etc. you'll love this. And it's great to know that the goats live a decent life - am never sure about the animal welfare issues with the big brand milk wheys. Lovely with a few frozen blueberries and a dash of cinnamon - yuuum.

More than a protein powder,
January 01, 2008
From Ohio
I like that this protein powder is partially pre-digeted for easy assimilation and probiotic benefits. I mix it with goat yogurt. There is no sweetner, I add stevia. It does have a slight goat flavor similar, but more mild, than goat milk.
