The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

What does "Namaste mean?
Namaste (pronounced "Naa-Maa-Stay") is a Sanskrit word with no literal translation. In general it means "The Spirit within me honors and respects the Spirit within you."
A Note About Shelled Hemp Seed Shelled Hemp Seed is an excellent source of easily digestible, gluten-free protein. Its overall protein content is better than that found in nuts, dairy products, meat, fish and poultry. (And it tastes delicious)! Hemp seed provides both of these essential fatty acids needed in the human diet- linoleic and alpha-linolenic, as well as complement of all essential amino acids.
Cooking directions for Pasta Pisavera:
What You Need: 3 Tablespoons Oil
Step 1- Add pasta to approximately 3 quarts of boiling, salted water. Cook for 7-10 minutes or until desired tenderness (do not overcook). Drain. Do not rinse.
Step 2- (You can do this step while waiting for the pasta if you like). Heat 3 tablespoons oil (more or less to taste) in pan. Add contents of seasoning packet (to taste) and drained pasta. Toss and voila! Eat as is or try one of these variations!
Make it a Meal! - You can add any number if things in Step 2 to make a new creation every time. Try adding chopped red or green peppers, fresh tomatoes, onions, fresh herbs, olives, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, zucchini, pine nuts, parmesan or feta cheese, chopped cooked chicken and on and on!
Make 4 side dish servings or 2 entree servings. For convenient and delicious entree, soup and pasta salad recipes using our pasta meals.

I keep this on hand for a fast pasta dish. I can't really tell if the flavors are more Mexican than Italian, but it is quite tasty. I never even think of the noodles as being gluten-free as their texture is great.
This pasta surprised me! I couldn't tell the noodles were gluten free--the taste and texture was like the pasta I ate growing up. The spices were well-balanced and not overly strong. I enjoyed it when I made it following the directions on the package, and I enjoyed it when I made it with the addition of diced chicken and green olives. Very versatile dish!
