I am a type II Diabetic with severe insulin resistance. I am also a physician. I have noticed that I need much less insulin when I take the olive leaf extract. It seems to act as an insulin "sensitizer". For those who are diabetic, a warning to monitor your glucose closely once you begin this product to avoid becoming hypoglycemic. An adjustment may be needed in your daily regimen. On the plus side, less shots is a good thing and combine it with some exercise and you may find yourself using 1/2 to 1/4 of your dosage.
Olive leaf is used to fight colds and flu, yeast infections, and viral infections such as Epstein-Barr disease, shingles and herpes. It has been shown to reduce low-density lipoproteins (LDL), or bad cholesterol. Researchers have found that olive leaf lowers blood pressure and increases blood flow by relaxing the arteries.

This is a nice product from a brand I haven't used before. I would prefer a higher dose capsule though.
Great for Blood Pressure

This has lowered from pressure to 130/78. I am elated. It acts like a ace inhibor. If you also take it with celery- a big drop. I can't because celery messes up your Thyroid numbers.
Good cold fighter

Helped a lot with fighting against viruses. Had to be taken with the first signs of cold 3-5 times per day, after that one-two for maintenance. Also good against candida. This is the good side. On the other hand it started to interfere probably with my thyroid (I am autoimmune hyper thyroid, still on remission). As I searched afterwards, its active component, hydroxy thyrosol may interfere with thyroid hormones - T3 and T4. The influence was rather mild but I still stopped taking olive leaf. At the same time it may be a suitable remedy for hypo thyroid people. No bad side effects.
Olive Leaf Extract

Olive leaf extract is excellent to fight viral infections, sinus infections, colds and flu symptoms. It can also help to reduce blood pressure. Recommended by a Health Care consultant. It works for me.
Olive Leaf is underrated!

For all the immune supplements out there, I think Olive Leaf is the best. It works quickly, it gives you energy and it is a good blood sugar modulator. You can use it when you are already stick or take some as a precautionary measure. Take with a good probiotic like Healthy Trinity and that's a great wellness combo.
