Nature's Alchemy, Vetivert, Essential Oil, .5 oz (15 ml)28 Reviews
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

iHerb Customer Reviews
When someone suggested we use this essential oil to help with the mood swings on our child because of the Ritalin he was currently taking, I was really skeptical. When we did take our child off for Christmas vacation to give it a real good test, I was very surprised it did work. He's still a normal child, with regular childlike behavior, but nothing like the out of control mood swings he had before. He now has an appetite, and grown a lot in size the last 6 months because of it. His doctor since birth is amazed at how well it works and told us to keep using it, because he is doing so well with it.
I read about Vetivert in a book about essential oils written by an aromatherapist, and it sounded like a great oil. I wanted to try it out in my perfume and body oil blends, so I got it from iHerb. It has kind of a smoky aroma and is quite strong, but when properly diluted and mixed with other oils, such as Frankincense and Bergamot, it adds a beautiful, dark note to the scent. Great calming and centering oil!
