- With Luxurious Oils of Sandalwood, Sesame, Rice Bran & Carrot Seed
Vata · Pitta · Kapha
Nature's Formula Calming massage oil is formulated using oils highly regarded in Ayurveda. We use oils rich in nutrients, such as Rice bran (Vitamin E) and Carrot seed (Vitamin A) to nourish your skin. Sandalwood, Sesame oil, Almond oil along with Wheat germ oil provide the rich, smooth texture to a massage oil that is sensual, relaxing and nourishing.
Ayurvedic philosophy believes that massage enhances the senses and helps restore the balance of the Doshas (a combination of Vata, Pitta, Kapha — your unique constitution) and thereby relieve the physical and mental conditions resulting from the imbalance.
Gently massage over body until evenly spread.
Oils of sesame, sweet almond, jojoba, wheat germ, rice bran; essential oils of sandalwood, geranium, coriander, lemongrass, pettitgrain, ylang ylang, frankincense, carrot seed, jasmine
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, open wounds, sensitive areas.
iHerb Customer Reviews
I like to use oils after showering, before drying off, instead of lotions to keep my skin moisturized. I recently tried this one and it's a nice treat although not something I'd use everyday. The smell is relaxing but lingering, woodsy spice scent. I love how soft it leaves my skin! I got about 12 uses out of it, which is okay but not great for the price so I may try diluting it next time with apricot oil to make it go further and smell less strong.
