The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

To prepare, simply empty packet into bowl, add about 1/2-2/3 cup (125-150 ml) of boiling water or as desired and stir.

These are such a nice change from the typical flavor of oatmeals and I love flax. They are great for taking on weekend trips where breakfast might not be served.
These oatmeals are easy to prepare - just pour the contents of a pack into a cup, add hot water, and wait. In the meantime you can do some washing up as it needs some time to "cook". There's a lovely & light cinnamon taste. I love the sweetness from the blueberries (anthocyanins for your eyes!). The soy nuts and flax seeds also adds a nice crunch that I enjoy. Overall it makes a nice breakfast and I will re-purchase.
