Nature's Way, Bilberry, Standardized, 90 Capsules

Expiration Date: Oct 2017
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

iHerb Customer Reviews
At a regular optical exam, I was told I had a cataract beginning in my left eye. I took 2 Bilberry/day for 2 years, and on my next exam there was no sign of cataracts! I quit the Bilbery, and 2 years later was told a cataract was starting again. Now I seem to need a bigger dose (6/day) but am hopeful the Bilberry will again win.
Apparently bilberry offers a lot of the benefits of blueberries but has some unique differences. Effects noticed after a couple of weeks of consistent use (1 to 2 capsules per day): increased resistance to colds, better adaptation to low-light conditions, almost freakish night vision, increased urination (seems to act as a diuretic). I suspect that the benefits for vision may be less apparent for those deficient in vitamin A or with sight disorders. The product also seems to have some benefit for skin and broken capillaries, though this is rather subjective at this stage of use and maybe wishful thinking on my part.
