Extra Hot version 100,000 heat units can be dangerous. Recommend 40,000 heat units. Read up on Cayenne (Amazon, Google)

As I have been using Cayenne supplements for years now, I thought I was familiar with the Scoville Heating Units scoring system for Cayenne powder strength. Boy, was I mistaken!Nature's Way Cayenne Extra Hot product is EXACTLY as advertised! Which means,in the long run, a lot less will be needed for my supplementation than I was using with another product, in the past. I will continue to buy this item from iHerb for the overall cost/value that I always receive from this company. Thank you.

The best thing for those with heart problems or those who want to prevent heart problems - see the book "Left for Dead" by Dick Quinn, who went on to become healthy through having cayenne pepper, after doctors gave him up for dead.
I have one capsule with a main evening meal and if I get any burning sensation (only from a small meal), I eat a banana, which removes it straight away.
