what can i say? raw chocolate. can't get any better than that. I make my own raw chocolate, grind up 1c soaked almonds, 1c macadamia nuts, (in champion juicer w/blank plate) 1/2c cacao nibs, 1/4c cacao powder, 3T heaping maca powder, 3T heaping of mesquite, 1/4c agave syrup, mix all by hand, roll between 2 sheets of wax paper with a rolling pin, put in freezer. break of chunks as needed.

I add to chocolate protein shakes. Delicious!! I take with Sambazon Acai powder. Two of the highest ORAC value (fight free radicals) foods around.

Just opening the bag gave me a chocolate high. Very tasty, but does not dissolve in cold milk. I'll buy this again.

Better than roasted cocoa!,
February 25, 2009
From New Mexico
This is my first time trying Cacao Powder and I don't think I'll go back to cocoa. It tastes amazing, even more "chocolatey" than regular cocoa. We've been using it in smoothies and puddings. Highly recommended!

Awesome cacao!,
May 04, 2007
From Florida
If you like chocolate, this is a great product. You can add this to things like ground flax seed and protein powder, and sweeten with berries and/or stevia and you have the ultimate nutritional chocolate thing. And I believe the cacao hype too- there probably is some sort of nutritive cacao antioxidant phytochemical. Great chocolate, amazing price! iherb has done it again!

Great, but needs a little sweetener. Agave syrup really gives it the right taste.

Worth the price. ,
February 21, 2009
From Arizona
When I first used this, I mixed it with carob powder and added some hot water to it. It tasted overly bitter and I thought there was something wrong with it. However, it's just a matter of getting the right proportions, and when you do get them right, this product is far superior to the overly processed cocoa you can buy in grocery stores. Overall, I've learned to appreciate raw cocoa and think it has a rich delicious taste.

I have a weakness for chocolate and now that it's healthy to eat it, I'm packing it away. I feel euphoric at times and the day just moves a little better with my chocolate!

Lovely Aroma, Feel Great!,
September 12, 2009
From New Zealand
This lovely stuff gives you the euphoric feeling of a chocolate indulgence without the sweetness. I love it as its very healthy and smells and tastes great. The bitterness is an acquired taste, but as soon as you get used to it, you will begin to appreciate chocolate for what it really is.
