Tropical Tamanu Nature's Miracle Oil

The sacred oil of Calophyllum Inophyllum, commonly known as the Tamanu or Foraha oil, has been used by indigenous cultures for centuries and garnered interest from scientists as early as 1918 for its unique benefits.

Nature's "Beauty Leaf"

Calophyllum Inophyllum's botanical name is comprised of two Greek words: kalos which means "beautiful" and phullon which means "leaf". It has been employed by native peoples in tropical regions in the South Pacific and beyond to enhance beauty and for multiple other uses. Today, aromatherapists favor oil from Madagascar and Tahiti because the oil from these islands is typically purer and more aromatic.

Essential Oils - The Heart and Soul of the Plant

Tropical Tamanu delivers the essential oil of Calophyllum Inophyllum in keeping with the tradition of the ancients. The essential oil from the seeds of this tree not only provides the plant with its unique scent, but also protects it from invaders and other threats from its environment. With centuries of use in traditional cultures, the essence of this tree and its sacred oil can also provide human benefit.

Certified Organic Tamanu Oil Harvested from the Pure, Rich Soils of Madagascar

Tropical Tamanu delivers a certified organic source of this miracle oil harvested from Madagascar—one of the cleanest environments in the world. Even today the island, dubbed the "Botanical Treasure Island" by scientists, has very few automobiles and air pollution, and the toxins that accompany it—nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide—are virtually unknown on the island. New Chapter is proud to deliver to you Tropical Tamanu: a pure and organic essential oil carefully harvested from the Tamanu tree grown in the vibrant and clean soils of Madagascar.

Wonderful Product

A friend sent this to use on my mother's shingles and it worked where nothing her dr had given her did, to relieve the pain and itch and to heal them. It also heals staph infection from fire ant bites (twice for me) and removed a large mole after a week or two of use on it, just dried it up and it sloughed off gradually. Why they chose to cut the strength in the 1 oz bottle with olive oil is a mystery. The 1/2 oz bottle is pure tamanu oil. But both work well. Highly recommend this product for skin conditions/problems.

I think this works well to help clear blemishes or heal the wound if you've popped a blemish. Also works well to help soothe facial irritation.
