My cat must take pills dailey but they have to be cut in half making them nasty tasting and difficult to swallow, the same size empty capsules the vet had were hard to open and $35 per 100 and these seem to melt faster once inside him. This all makes giving the cat his pill a breeze. Thank you

Just right for my son to swallow
Making DIY Oil of Oregano capsules
Posted by YoungerNextYear on Aug 14, 2016
This DIY capsule filling isn't for everyone. I only bought these because I take Oil of Oregano and I can't cope with it raw anymore, it's just too intense, so I stopped taking it for a couple years until I read a review on iHerb about someone who bought these capsules here and made DIY Oil of Oregano caps to avoid the taste. It's easy enough to do and I'm pretty motivated because oregano so potent tasting otherwise! No more fire breathing dragon!
Perfect to give my kittys their meds

I have been buying these for the last 10 years or so and am very satisfied. It is small enough so that my cats can swallow them right down without gagging. It is large enough that I can fit a couple of meds and a half of a pepcid in it. This is really important when pilling cats to be able to give multiple pills in one dose. I do have one large complaint in that they use to come in a zip lock bag. For the last couple of years the manufacture discontinued the zip lock much to my surprise. Fortunately I had one of their older bags and have been putting the new bag of capsules into the older bag. But... Please bring back the zip lock feature!!! I live in a humid location and if capsules get damp they tend to melt. The newer bags once opened have no way to close them, definitely a drawback. I guess If I had never had their older zip lock bag I wouldn't known any different but I do. And putting them into a zip lock bag I have on hand is not convenient they are not as sturdy and usually are too large so take up more room.

Great size. Not too big, not too small. Taste is fine.
