Referred to by the ancient Incans as "the mother of all grains", Quinoa (along with buckwheat and amaranth) is one of the few plant sources to offer a complete set of amino acids, making it a rare plant source of complete protein. It's naturally gluten-free and a good source of protein and fiber.
Living NOW Organic Quinoa is a good substitute for rice in recipes, and is often used in soups, stews, and casseroles.
It has a mild, delicate flavor that's slightly nutty, making it a popular addition to many vegetarian recipes. Sprinkle on your favorite salad for an extra burst of flavor and nutrition!

Tasty Quinoa can be cooked like brown rice, yet only takes 20 minutes. First clean the quinoa grain by rinsing through a strainer. Simmer for about 20 minutes until Quinoa expands fully. Then add seasonings and desired vegetables and cook until water is gone.

My husband and I love the flavor of this grain and have always been happy with NOW products. This time, however, we are sorry to report that in two out of three of the bags of quinoa we found tiny rock-like crystals that could be very damaging to teeth. I rinsed the product, as suggested, but was unable to find the crystals, as they are very small and translucent. Otherwise, this stuff is delicious and especially healthy when cooked with turmeric and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil prior to serving.
i love quinoa but will buy another brand next time. the grain itself tasted fine but there were tiny gritty rocks particles throughout. i made it as a semolina replacement for a gluten-free north african couscous dinner and what a disaster! soooo unpleasant that every third chew produced that icky painful grit feeling. like having sand in your food. luckily i didn't break any teeth or fillings! YUCK!!!

It is still tasty and healthy. Grains may be too small. You have nothing to actually chew. Good for lazy eaters or old people.
good quinoa flavor and certified!

Good value and I mix it with red quinoa (1/3) to enrich the flavours in my quinoa salads! add in some red wine vinegar too in the dressing to enhance it further...
Been getting this product for awhile...

Easy to cook

Love how easy, fuss-free & healthy quinoa is to cook. Only pain is the washing part as you will need a fine mesh strainer, the normal strainers won't work. If you dont wash properly, there will be a strong bitter taste.
