Niacin (Vitamin B-3) is an essential B-vitamin necessary for good health. Many Niacin supplements cause a temporary Niacin flush or tingling red rash on the skin when taken in large doses. This flush-free Niacin if formulated to avoid such reactions.
Inositol Hexanicotinate is a stable, non-flushing source of Niacin. This superior source of Niacin works to reduce the common "niacin-flush" problems associated with high doses of Niacin supplements.
As a dietary supplement, take 1 Vcap daily as needed, preferably with meals; or take as directed by your health practitioner. Consider taking this product in combination with NOW B-50 Complex, D-Ribose and Sytrinol.
Cellulose (capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), rice flour and silica.
Contains no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.

I have only been taking this for about 10 days. I have taken it at all different times of the day, with food and also on an empty stomach. I have not felt any side effects at all, and I am SUPER sensitive to almost all prescription medications and also very many natural supplements. In fact, I felt like it gave me a little energy boost through-out the day with no jittery feeling. just had more energy. I did notice that when I take it after 7pm that I get some very vivid dreams. When I took it earlier, say 5pm, I did not have the dreams. Overall it seems like a great product and I hope it helps reduce my cholesterol.
Could be a good brand but check out all possibilities first

I have taken this product and have discontinued until I see my doctor as information I have discovered indicates that niacin (not necessarily this product) can raise blood sugar which could be an issue for type 2 diabetes. Also, I have recently been very itchy all over but I am unsure if it's related to this product or not at this stage. I will update this rating at a later time.

Take Niacin to raise HDL and lower triclycerides !!
Posted by Sickness-ELIMINATOR on Aug 11, 2013
I have high triglycerides and low HDL. Now Foods 500mg Niacin is the best treatment for lowering Triglycerides and raising HDL. Since niacin is not a patentable pharmaceutical product, physicians are many times not aware of the value of treating this condition with niacin. . . . . You can find other products I use on my Page! I use only products that have Scientifically Proven benefits.

Niacin without the flush
did not work in lowering cholestrol
Posted by Reviewer2227545 on Dec 15, 2012
Tried this product and other flush free in an attempt to lower my husband's and my mother's cholestrol. My husband was taking 6/day. For them both it did nothing. BUT when I switched them to the regular niacin (the kind that makes you flush) - the results were more than magnificant. Total down, HDL up, LDL down, triglyclerides down. Start low - best to use tablets first so you can cut in half and move up. I gave my hubby too much and his cholestrol went down to 150. He now takes about 1/2 of what he used to. This was all with the regular niacin. As I said we had no results with the flush free.
