This form of Magnesium seems to be gentler on my digestive tract than the oxide form.

Excellent,
December 23, 2008
From Australia
I always use magnesium in either citrate or chelate forms. However this Malate formula is excellent too, the malic acid really helps with fibromyalgia/muscle pains and various other things, highly reccommended!

I started to take this in place of D-Ribose for my fibromyalgia. So far it seems to be doing the trick and it costs much less.

Seems to be well absorbed without having to shell out the dosh. Take this in between meals - works much better. I take around 800mg a day along with eating cheese for calcium.

Good magnesium source and may clear aluminum,
July 22, 2009
From Georgia
I live in Costa Rica and have been told that we have a lot of aluminum in the soil that is taken up by the produce. I am not sure about that, but I did find a reference that this helps remove the aluminum. I don't have any effects yet, but it is a good magnesium source as well.

An exceptionally good price for this excellent form of magnesium, which provides a substantial amount of elemental magnesium.

Good for memory,
January 04, 2009
From California
Best type of magnesium out there, as it helps rid the body of aluminum build up and improves memory, along with the usual benefits of magnesium supplementation. Capsules work better than tablets, though.

Now Foods, Magnesium Malate, 1000 mg,
December 22, 2008
From North Carolina
I have a rare muscle disorder and the malate version of magnesium really seems to help with easing of the muscle spasms that come with it. I have only used the NOW brand of Malate so I can't compare it to other formulations.
