NAD (B-Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is the biologically usable form of Niacin (Vitamin B-3). NAD is present in all living cells as a cofactor for many biochemical reactions, playing a central role in cellular energy production. NAD and its reduced form, NADH, are readily converted by the body, but unlike NADH, NAD is not altered by the acids present in the stomach.
