This enzyme helps protect against deep vein thrombosis (blood clot) by making the platelets less sticky. Having a DVT is an experience I don't want to repeat, and nattokinase is part of my strategy. I could take warfarin (Coumadin - it's used as rat poison; rats that ingest it bleed to death) but I like to do things non-medically where possible. I'm careful not to run out of natto. Works extra well with L-Citrulline.

I have been taking Nattokinase and a combination Alpha Lipoic Acid and L-Carnitine for a little over 2 years now. I now have very few incidences of "brain fog" or senior moments. I've told many people about this. (in fact my kids could probably benefit from this combination) The ones who don't believe supplements help anything are still walking into rooms and forgetting why they wanted to go there. Not me!

I purchased this product to help my pet boxer with his dilated cardiomyopathy. He had a clot that that was preventing blood flow to his back legs causing lameness. After about one week on this product and a few other herbs he has full use of his back legs again and a new lease on life! For an 11 year old boxer this is nothing short of a miracle. What a great product!

I have just started using Nattokinase and it has been only about 2 weeks. I had a TIA which is a mini stroke and my jaw and tongue on the right side always feels like it is thick and slower so that I could have another one. I have noticed that this feeling has been better for several days now. I will keep using Nattokinase and will be able to rate it more fairly at a later time.
