Even though I am a vegetarian who eats eggs and limited dairy (organic cottage cheese mostly) which I am trying to eliminate, I find it hard to get enough protein without adding too many calories and/or carbs to go along with it. I work out A LOT at the gym and my life is one big diet to stay slender. So, I've been searching for an extra protein I could add in without excess calories, fat, carbs.... THIS IS GREAT! I put off trying it for so long because I kept reading people say that the smell is awful and the taste is worse. That they can't mask the taste no matter what they do. It also seemed that all these people were trying to blend it into sweet things, like smoothies and such. I never even bothered to try and put this in something sweet! It's from a vegetable after all :) I have made it two ways so far. One, which is the easiest, is to mix it into soup. It thickens it, makes it more of a meal and I don't have much more in the way of calories. The second way, is that I made veggie burgers with it! It ups the protein content of the recipe and gives it much more substance. P.S. I don't really smell anything, let alone a foul smell. For me, this has been AWESOME and great post workout. I hope this helps someone who has my same issues :) (Great price for a HUGE size of protein powder of any kind!)
I don't like to take soy or whey based recovery drinks (hard time to digest). Pea Protein is a wonderful alternative for me and I don't have to make any compromises in terms of supplying my body with enough protein. I love it, and it's extremely filling.
Misleading Reviews almost stopped me

From the reviews I thought this powder tasted horrible not just tasteless but when I tried it I found it's just tasted like unflavored vegetable powder and not that bad.. this protein does what it says an unflavored Junk free protein powder so stop crying about its taste coz it's tasteless. the only drawback for this protein is that it's very fluffy affected by static electricity that when i take a scoop alot if it flies away it doesn't have this steady texture of whey protein i even stop breathing whenbi pick the scoop and drop it deep inside my shaker bottle to avoid powder waste...
This has the Best variety of essential Amino Acids .

I bought this as it has such a great variety of amino acids that are essential for your health , it is one of the best protein powders that some one that has Diabetes can buy as it is low GI and does not elevate your blood sugar . Whey proteins' elevate your blood sugar and keep it high for days . this product does not do that and is very good for you , Great ingredients , the only down side it tastes like baby formula a little .

Now, I only got this because my stomach is awfully weak and I've tried other protein supplements and they all gave me issues. I was, to be really honest, extremely excited for the product to arrive. I blatantly ignored all the reviews about the terrible taste and trusting my Chinese taste buds and that everyone else was just weak. Well, first of all, it smells like fish food. So, I really do not want to be a fish in my next life. Next, the taste of it by itself is... terrible. The texture is sandy and thick and the taste is just bad. I mixed it with six HUGE spoons of honey and it was still quite terrible. I then mixed that with Mcdonald's ice lemon tea and it was a lot better. But let's be real, buying a large iced lemon tea every time I need a boost in protein isn't exactly practical. The final blow for me was when I mixed it with oatmeal. I do add condensed milk into the mixture and it nearly made me puked. I really wish I could return this and exchange it for something more palatable. If you want a challenge, go ahead. The price is great and what it provides is excellent. The taste, however, that's a different story.
