Rice Bran is the nutrients-dense outer husk of rice grain. It's a good natural source of fiber and contains magnesium, vitamin B6 and iron.
Now Real Food Rice Bran is an excellent natural additive to many baked goods and is primarily used to boost fiber content. It adds a rich texture and imparts a subtle flavor that's ideal for cereals, or as a tasty and nutritious thickening agent for smoothies. Add it to breads and muffins to improve color and taste.

I hope Now can find a way to encourage organic options. The product is good, but it's questionableto be eating the hull of the rice that must be the most laden with pesticides.
This rice bran product comes milled without roasting. The texture is very fine, and is perfect for a form of Japanese pickling called nukazuke. "Nuka" is the Japanese name for rice bran. The aroma, once roasted, is amazingly rich and it roasts to a nice golden caramel color.
Not organic and no info on GMO

The texture is great and just what I like for fiber. But Now haven't confirmed it's not GMO as they usually do in their product descriptions. It would also be great if Now could source and provide organic rice bran.
Wish this was organic

I mix this rice bran with milk and scrub my face every night after removing makeup. Sometimes I mix it with milk and some honey and put on my face for Good 10~20 minutes and wash it off. It works great on my combination skin. It makes my skin so smooth and moisturized. Also my blackheads are fading away.
First rice bran

This is my first rice bran, so I am not sure what to compare it too, but my daughter like it in smoothies, and she doesn't like any superfood in her smoothies. To me, that says a lot ;) I basically use it in smoothies, and it gives the smoothie a nice feel, better taste and thicker.
I love this!

Tastes great, and a good source of fiber. I use it in my smoothies for thickness and the advantages of the fiber. And you would not believe how much this stuff costs in Norway.....
