I've been taking various brands of Milk Thistle for two years. It seems to really help me get through trips to the mall, time in commercial buildings, exposure to new car smell, etc. I take one per day, and two on days where I think I'll be more exposed.
I just read a review of a study where it also came up as helpful to preventing prostate problems, so that's a plus.

I had been having trouble with chest pains that would reoccur on and off. Very annoying, especially AFTER eating something. I would feel sluggish, tired and less motivated to do just about ANYTHING. After I began taking Milk Thistle Extract, just in the span of two days I could tell IMMEDIATELY that something working on the inside of me. I have never felt so well before and relaxed before until now. I am 32, and the overall feeling of well being is amazing. I take 4 caps in the morning, 4 in the afternoon and 3 before bedtime. Milk Thistle is VERY good for you and according to research Yes you can overdose provided your stomach don't irritate you. EXTREMELY POTENT STUFF. If you are skeptical (I was too), GIVE THIS A TRY. YOU WOULD BE HAPPY YOU DID!!!

Very Pleased with this product,

Used to have those little red spots on my torso, which indicated my liver need help in filtering toxins. This product lets me know I'm assisting my liver in its function. I can see the reduction of those tiny little red spots.
