affordable SAM-E alternative,

this product seems like a reasonable alternative to the cost-prohibitive SAM-E. TMG is realtively cheap compared to other supplements and this brand in particular offers the cheapest price with the highest potency/quantity. for depression, TMG seems to work within a week and seems more consistent than st. john's wort although the two seem to work together better than either alone.

I listened to other's in their reviews and bought also l-methionine with b-6 and took this everyday after taking the sam-e for a few weeks, i did not notice a decline in my mood so i guess 500mg of this with 500mg of methionine and 100mg of b-6 work pretty well together. I crushed these with equal parts of methionine and capsuled them so it would be easier to take, these are big pills. UPDATE: I HAVE OWNED THESE NOW SINCE 6/30/08 AND NOTICED THEY ARE SWELLED UP AND STARTING TO CRACK OPEN. 9/17/08
