Featured on the walls of Egyptian and Abyssinian tombs dating back to the 500 BC, the Rose has proven useful in skincare for all skin types. Cleopatra's legendary milk and rose petal baths illustrate milk's well documented history as an ancient moisturizing additive. Chai, the actual word for tea in Swahili, is integral to the cultural and social fabric of many civilizations. Grown on East African family farms, Chai is rich in antioxidants to fight skin damage and premature aging.
Skin softening Honey is added to this naturally rich moisturizing Goat's Milk Soap with Rose extracts. Mildly astringent Rose Water works with the essential fatty acids found in Goat's Milk to cleanse, help regulate pH, condition and soften. Finely ground Chai and Rose Petals provide light exfoliation and natural antioxidant protection.
100% Vegetable Oils: palm oil and/or coconut oil, vegetable glycerin, organic shea butter, goat's milk powder, rose petals, rose extract, honey, camellia sinensis (chai) leaf extract, rose water, mineral pigment or vegetable color, natural fragrance and/or essential oil.
this is a wonderfully scented soap; definitely floral in nature, but spicy and w/ hints of cream. the scent lingers for a bit after you rinse, but it's not strong, so I usually follow w/ the matching lotion. this neither adds moisture to my skin, or takes any away, and a bar lasts about a month w/ daily use.
For years I've been fairly happy with Dr. Bronner's, but figured I'd like a change and ventured into the realm of Nubian Heritage products. I'm delighted to have found this brand. This is truly the best soap I've found, and the soft fragrance is a little bit of heaven. I'm planning on trying many more of these products, at least those without any chemicals included. Manufacturer take note: you have some clean quality products, but some of the chemicals you have chosen to use in body wash and shampoo are not appropriate - time to upgrade and especially lose the parabens and sulfates.

Dries out my skin. The only thing I like about it does not become mushy.
Amazing soap I've ever used

I like this soap. It lathers really well, doesn’t dry the skin, leaves my sensitive skin feeling clean and moisturized, the bar has a big size and lasts a lot (lasts even more than the raw shea butter one from the same brand, although is slightly less moisturizing). It smells heavenly, the scent is mainly floral (like roses with a sweet hint) and in my opinion is not overpowering. One special point is the fact that it has a lot of rose/chai petals…some of them are large and provide a particular sensation on the skin. Although a lot of people may think that it is more suitable for women, I recommend it for everybody with sensitive or dry skin (both men and women). I’m looking forward to trying more Nubian soaps!!
