This nutrient-rich hand cream is specially formulated with Coconut Oil and Papaya Extract, revered in tropical communities for their moisturizing and skin renewing properties. Papaya enzymes gently exfoliate. Vanilla Bean Extractm, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E help nourish and brighten dull looking skin.
Humble Beginnings: Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of two New York street vendors. In 1992, fresh out of college and without jobs, Rich and Nyema embarked on a mission to produce luxurious natural products from traditional African recipes with organic and fair trade ingredients. Today Nubian Heritage offers hundreds of culturally authentic natural products inspired by global ancient healing philosophies. Although Nubian Heritage products are no longer made in bath tubs, little else has changed; the company still makes its products itself, still uses fair trade and organic ingredients and still invests in community commerce.
Heritage: Since ancient times the Coconut tree has been a vital source of food and nourishment for millions of tropical communities in South America, Asia, the Caribbean and Africa. Coconut Oil is a natural cleanser and moisturizer. Papaya is also revered for its skin renewing properties. Papain, a naturally occurring enzyme, gently exfoliates the skin.

This is one of the best lotions I have ever used. The smell is amazing, it smells so fruity and sweet you just want to eat it! It doesnt leave any greasy film on the hands, it soaks in and your hands will smell wonderful.
This product does give the same benefit as pure coconut oil, but is easier to use as it is always liquid. Pure cocnut is great, but it gets pretty hard sometimes and is not that easy to apply. Skin problems that go away with coconut oil also go away with this product. I have tried many others and the genuine cocnut base is the only thing that heals them completey.
Nice, but a bit strong smell

I do like this cream and would probably repurchase it, but even though I do like the smell all in all, I wish it could have been a bit more descrrete.
A fantastic product easy to use

Smells amazing, greasy feeling though

The smell of this lotion is delicious. Its a bit strong but not overwhelming. I personally wish I could buy a perfume in this scent. The only complaint I have is it leaves a greasy after feeling. I've used it a few times then gave up on it, I work with my hands at work and need something that absorbs easily and doesn't leave any residue which this didn't accomplish. If you wouldn't mind this though, you may love the scent alone.
Hydrating for the hand

I mix an oil for eczema with this hand cream. The coconut portion hydrates while the papaya portion makes the skin soft. And the smell of coconut and papaya masks the oil's smell. This hand cream is great as gift also.
