Honey & Black Seed Soap with Apricot Oil
Heritage: Black Seed Oil, Nigella Sativa, can be traced back more than 3000 years to the Assyrians and ancient Egyptians. Discovered in the tomb of King Tutankhamen, Black Seed Oil was reportedly used by Queen Nefertiti to maintain her exquisite complexion. Black seed earned the Arabic approbation "habbatul barakah" the seed of blessing for its powerful curative properties in traditional medicine. Wild honey has been used historically as a natural anti-septic in balms and salves to comfort and soothe skin, reduce redness and heal wounds.
The traditional benefits of Black Seed Oil on the skin are enhanced in our specially blended soap with Wild Honey and Apricot Oil. This unique soap gently cleanses and exfoliates while softening, smoothing and perfecting skin. Organic Shea Butter, rich in essential vitamins and fatty acids, helps heal and condition.
Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of two New York street vendors. In 1992, fresh out of college and without jobs, Rich and Nyema embarked on a mission to produce luxurious natural products from traditional African recipes with organic and fair trade ingredients. Today Nubian Heritage offers hundreds of culturally authentic natural products inspired by global ancient healing philosophies. Although Nubian Heritage products are no longer made in bath tubs, little else has changed; the company still makes its products itself, still uses fair trade and organic ingredients and still invests in community commerce.

I opened my iherb-package and the smell came out. Woow. That was strong and not pleasent. I hoped the ones who had complained about the smell was taking it too far, but no. This is not a good smell for either men or women. I have just put it away well covered and not tried it .Not sure if I will ever try it.
Good soap, but the smell is odd. I really prefer the African black soap or the Mango butter soap from Nubian Heritage. Won't buy it again.
Really good for face

This is my favorite soap to use to wash my face. It really helps take off my make up or when I feel my face is oily. It smells amazing too. I've also gifted it to my bf and he enjoys using it on his face as well.
Not bad, but scent not a favourite

As with all the Nubian Heritage soaps I've tried, they clean well without stripping the skin. The scent of this one is interesting. Hard to describe, a slightly spicy-ish floral honey scent. I can see how some would find it a little heavy. Not my fave scent of these soaps. Please click my username for more product reviews.

I love anything that smells like honey, and this was a warm honey smell. The black seeds were there but about halfway through the bar, it seems to disappear. It cleaned well and it is a huge bar! I might return to this for the smell!
I am sure it's nice...

I haven't tried it yet, but my cabinet in the bathroom smells great! Lovely....
