The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

NutriBiotic Hypo-Aller C with calcium, magnesium, potassium, and zinc is an effervescent powder delivering vitamin C in combination with an array of highly bioavailable minerals in a readily soluble form.
Since vitamin C and minerals are not produced by the body, they must be replenished daily. Minerals are essential in keeping the body healthy and aid in the assimilation of vitamin C. When Hypo-Aller C is added to a liquid, the vitamin C and minerals react to create natural carbonation (effervescence) to form mineral ascorbates. The mineral ascorbates formed are buffered and, therefore, less acidic.
NutriBiotic Hypo-Aller C is well tolerated by most highly allergic individuals.
As a dietary supplement, mix 1/2 teaspoon into a glass of juice or water. Take with or without meals, or as directed by a licensed healthcare professional.

iHerb Customer Reviews
I am a hardcore vitamin c enthusiast. No single supplement can do so much good, so quickly...boost immunity, reduce inflammation, fight free radicals...it's a miraculous nutrient. The key is to take it several times per day, and to use a form of the vitamin which is recognizable to your body. The ascorbate forms of c, such as in this product, are quickly utiized, and never cause stomach upset. I use about 10-12 grams per day, which may seem like a lot--until you consider where I was, health-wise, at the beginning, and where I am now. I'm not exxagerating when I say that I've never missed a days work, for any reason! Not bad for somebody entering his 5th decade in the workforce. I believe that nutritional supplements saved my life. I've tried a lot of products, and I know what works and what doesn't. My reviews are honest, straighforward, and based on my experience. Read my other reviews to quickly learn from my three decades of research and experimentation.
Just started taking this as part of my Leukemia repair regimen. It is HIGHLY important to note that many vitamin C supplements contain the D -ascorbic acid form which the body can't absorb and simply flushes out through the urine. On the other hand, L-ascorbic acid is highly absorbable by the body. For example, hours after having taken the first dose, urine passed from this body was not the bright yellow color signifying a flushing of vitamin c. We all need vitamin C. The body doesn't make it. Diet does not always supply enough. Because the body flushest vitamin C doesn't always mean that it is excess, it could mean that the body cannot absorb it fully. Try/see what this means for you.
