NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate is a non-bitter, non-acidic, fully reacted, buffered vitamin C in a highly soluble form. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient that cannot be produced by the body, therefore, it must be replenished daily. Vitamin C has several beneficial purposes including developing and maintaining healthy skin and bones, and plays important roles in many biochemical reactions. Vitamin C provides support to the body's immune system by protecting cells from oxidative stresses.
NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate is manufactured by dissolving pharmaceutical grade ascorbic acid with sodium bicarbonate, derived from sea water. Sodium helps regulate the amount of water in the body. It also aids the movement of sodium into and out of cells, which plays a critical role in many bodily functions. The sodium in this product differs from common table salt in that it is not combined with chloride, the "salt" most often associated with hypertension.
As a dietary supplement, mix 1/4 teaspoon or more into a glass of juice or water. Take with or without meals, or as directed by a licensed health care professional.
Made without common food allergens such as milk, soy, egg, yeast, and wheat. Contains no rose hips, animal products, fillers, excipients, lubricants, binders, starch, colorings, flavorings, or preservatives.

I use this orally, but also as an amazing tooth paste (keeps tooth pain at bay - let it soak in), and add a bit of thickner (xanthan gum) to make the most awesome skin salve - mix slowly (no air bubble entrapment), preferably with a plastic spoon, which does miracles. One night treatment improved circles under my eyes. Dose not sting in open wounds and will accelerate healing like nothing you've ever seen ... plunged a cut finger directly in the powder .. it healed with no peeling at wound edges (never had that happen before) and no scaring. Do not pre-mix ... it oxidizes VERY quickly as soon as it hits water losing the extra electron that it donates to intracellular processes.
I take a lot of vitamin C everyday, around 5 or 6 grams a day as it is the only thing that works well to keep allergies away. I began with vitamin C as Dr. Gerard Judd recommended to prevent cavities and to help remineralize enamel. And after 2 or 3 months of taking it I noticed that my teeth were harder and I didn't notice like sand in my mouth that actually was little parts of my teeth, I haven't felt that anymore. So after about one month having Vit. C with an equal part of sodium bicarbonate I noticed that I didn't have allergies and my acne was far better (I didn't have it) actually whenever I take a lower dose my acne reactivates and allergies as well. And the only difference was that I was taking vit.C and Zinc (zinc plus Vit C works even better for acne) and I'm in my forties and have always had acne. My defenses are so much stronger now that I actually don't have flu nor colds. This ascorbate saves time as you don't need to mix it with bicarbonate as it is in the formula. It tastes like too much to bicarbonate but it is very good and gentle to the stomach. and this form of vit C is far cheaper than the pills. We love this Vitamin C and got it to use throughout the winter and to have on hand (just in case we got Whooping Cough). Maybe we jinxed ourselves, because, we did in fact, get Whooping Cough this summer and have been dosing with this. It is salty though, so hard to hide for our picky eater.....other than that, no complaints. It is fast absorbing and easy to figure out bowel tolerance

It is perfect
Best Tasting Vit C

While sodium ascorbate has a salty taste it is alot better than acorbic acid which is extremely sour. I have also tried calcium & magnesium ascorbates but these taste horrible. I use the vitamin c to make my Liposomal Vit C and now use 2 tablespoons sodium, 1 teaspoon of ascorbic acid, 1 teaspoon calcium and 1 teaspoon magnesium. The nutribiotic products are a good quality and provide high amounts of vitamin c. The product dissolves easily in room temp water. Have been using the product for approx. 6 months and would recommend it to others.
WAY UNDER WIGHT. SEALED.

As well as increasing their products by around 25% Nutriobic is now shortchanging their customers. This must be illegal. At this rate I wonder about the quality of their products. 300 grams or thereabouts is very wrong instead of 1lb. Tub was sealed and less than half full
