NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate is a non-bitter, non-acidic, fully reacted, buffered vitamin C in a highly soluble form. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient that cannot be produced by the body, therefore, it must be replenished daily. Vitamin C has several beneficial purposes including developing and maintaining healthy skin and bones, and plays important roles in many biochemical reactions. Vitamin C provides support to the body's immune system by protecting cells from oxidative stresses.
NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate is manufactured by dissolving pharmaceutical grade ascorbic acid with sodium bicarbonate, derived from sea water. Sodium helps regulate the amount of water in the body. It also aids the movement of sodium into and out of cells, which plays a critical role in many bodily functions. The sodium in this product differs from common table salt in that it is not combined with chloride, the "salt" most often associated with hypertension.
As a dietary supplement, mix 1/4 teaspoon or more into a glass of juice or water. Take with or without meals, or as directed by a licensed health care professional.
Made without common food allergens such as milk, soy, egg, yeast, and wheat. Contains no rose hips, animal products, fillers, excipients, lubricants, binders, starch, colorings, flavorings, or preservatives.
Our Promise and Guarantee: We use only 100% pure pharmaceutical grade sodium ascorbate USP-FCC* (C6H7NA6), which contains no corn residue, plant antigens, or protein impurities. Individuals allergic to corn or yeast can use this product with confidence.

I use this orally, but also as an amazing tooth paste (keeps tooth pain at bay - let it soak in), and add a bit of thickner (xanthan gum) to make the most awesome skin salve - mix slowly (no air bubble entrapment), preferably with a plastic spoon, which does miracles. One night treatment improved circles under my eyes. Dose not sting in open wounds and will accelerate healing like nothing you've ever seen ... plunged a cut finger directly in the powder .. it healed with no peeling at wound edges (never had that happen before) and no scaring. Do not pre-mix ... it oxidizes VERY quickly as soon as it hits water losing the extra electron that it donates to intracellular processes.
This dissolves easy and has virtually no taste when mixed with water (slightly saline). However, even one eighth of a tsp is still more than I would like to take so this is not right for me. Suggest any woman struggling with hormonal issues avoid mega doses of vit C - it's a proven aromatase inhibitor and will therefore cause a decrease in estrogen (though obviously that can be advantageous when estrogen is too high). At higher doses it can cause a decrease in both estrogen and progesterone. I've read that amounts over approx 750mg can start to cause hormonal changes that may not be beneficial. Best Tasting Vit C

While sodium ascorbate has a salty taste it is alot better than acorbic acid which is extremely sour. I have also tried calcium & magnesium ascorbates but these taste horrible. I use the vitamin c to make my Liposomal Vit C and now use 2 tablespoons sodium, 1 teaspoon of ascorbic acid, 1 teaspoon calcium and 1 teaspoon magnesium. The nutribiotic products are a good quality and provide high amounts of vitamin c. The product dissolves easily in room temp water. Have been using the product for approx. 6 months and would recommend it to others.
WAY UNDER WIGHT. SEALED.

As well as increasing their products by around 25% Nutriobic is now shortchanging their customers. This must be illegal. At this rate I wonder about the quality of their products. 300 grams or thereabouts is very wrong instead of 1lb. Tub was sealed and less than half full

Good value for money form of vitamin C. In my family, we use to take higher doses of vit C when we get the sniffles, it nicely dissolves in water or juice without giving it a too bad taste, also dissolves in my toddles milk and toddler accepts to drink which is wonderful. All in all, happy with product!

Taste takes a bit of getting used to but is easily disguised and you do get used to it - even my children under 5 years take it happily now.
