A Place in the Sun
A meditative and intoxicating blend with notes of lotus blossom, green violet leaf, olibanum and pink pepper with radiant citrus at the top.
Why you'll love it:
Moisturizing, rich-lathering, sulfate-free and bio-degradable, Pacifica Natural Soaps are handmade soaps with a proprietary vegetable-glycerin base, herbs and Pacifica's signature perfume blends with essential and natural oils. Precious and innocent in Lotus Garden, these are fresh, invigorating and clean.
Pacifica's beautifully natural soap is handmade using a proprietary biodegradable, vegan, vegetable oil and glycerin soap base, ground almond meal and Pacifica's own perfume blend with natural and essential oils.
I was looking for a soap to replace the soap I have been using for years and which is no longer available. That soap was scented only with the essential oils of lotus and vetiver. It was the best smelling soap I have ever used, and the scent lingered. I only use cruelty-free, vegan soap. This Pacifica soap was very long lasting, but smelled more to me of grapefruit. I am very disappointed in the fragrance, and I wish Pacifica would use only essential oils. I am going to have to contact Pacifica to find out if they use palm oil, as they do not disclose on their label which oils they use. I avoid buying anything containing conflict palm oil due to the destruction of rainforests and terrible suffering of wildlife, especially orangutans. I'll give it 4 stars for cruelty-free, long lasting, and deodorizing (I work outdoors and sweat), and the scent was OK, but mild and not lotus-y.
