Expiration Date: Aug 2015
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

In nature, herbs, foods, minerals, vitamins and even plain water have chemical compositions that makes them either acid, alkaline or neutral. This fine blend of herbs is highly alkaline. Acid/alkaline balancing was a prevalent health concept in the earlier part of the 20th century and is enjoying a resurgence in popularity. Today's diets and lifestyles lend themselves to acidity. Body Rescue Alkalizing Tea has the mild flavor of apricots and is naturally sweetened with yams. Enjoy a cup of Alkalizing Tea with a meal or just following a meal, to help neutralize the effects of acidic foods.
Hot Tea: Pour boiling water into a cup containing one tea bag. Let steep for three to five minutes. Each tea bag has the strength to make 2 cups of tea.
Iced Tea: Pour two cups of boiling water into quart size container using four tea bags. Let steep for to six minutes. Remove bags and add two cups cold water to container and chill.
Freeze dried yams, parsley leaf, burdock root, chickweed powder, bladderwrack, buchu leaf, natural apricot flavor

iHerb Customer Reviews
I bought this with the hope of neutralizing the acidic effect from our diet! I used PH paper to test it. The product is what it claims! I won't go for other cheap tea bags sold at supermarket as most of them, if not all, are acidic with artificial flavorings! Be a smart shopper!
We love this tea. It tastes good and it truly is good for you - helping to keep the body in alkaline balance.
