iHerb Customer Reviews
It removes eye makeup effectively, but three of its ingredients (stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, lanolin alcohol) are known possible irritants to the delicate skin around the eyes, and my eyes hurt when I use it. Better to avoid if you have sensitive skin or if your eyes are particularly sensitive.
I was previously using The Body Shop's Camomile Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover for years, but this is half the price I pay for that. The former is slightly more effective, but just by a little bit. I'm now using this every evening. I have sensitive eyes (can't draw eyeliner on my waterline and am using hypoallergenic eye liners) but this is OK so far. It is also not oily by my standards, just that the default bottle isn't the best way to store the cream. Overall a winner for me!
