Recently I was told by doctors that I may have Connective Tissue Disease, another auto-immune disease on top of my Hashimoto's Thyroid Disease. This after 5 years of docs, tests and personal research. All along I've been told by both my current docs that I should be eating somewhat vegan/vegetarian, cutting out red meat, pork, refined sugar and all dairy. I was fighting the dairy part since I LOVE cheese! Anyhow, up until about 3 weeks ago I was making breakfast smoothies with either egg white protein powder or whey powder since I'm not supposed to have soy with my thyroid nodules. I did try plain pea powder but its a tad rough tasting. I finally decided to try cutting out everything mentioned above to see if I felt better, so I bought this PlantFusion protein powder, got vanilla so it would go with most add-ons. I really love this stuff, it tastes good, it doesn't make me bloated or gassy like most other powders, and the price is not much more than cheap powders sold in our local low end retail store. In my Ninja I add almond milk, frozen strawberries, one scoop of powder and 2 tablespoons of Calm powder orange flavored. It makes a tropical flavored smoothy that does not need sweetener, and it keeps me fairly full until lunch. I will continue to buy this exact version. Also as an FYI, my inflammed muscles, painful joints & ability to focus is greatly improved with the elimination of the toxins mentioned above. And I have tested it by eating ice cream, jelly beans and steak (not all at the same time)!

Very Good but not plain

I am reading what others say that don't like it and i have a way i make it that makes it really good if those that want to drink it are ok adding these ingredients. You dont taste what the low star ratings say anymore 1 Cup vanilla almond milk blue diamond the 30 calorie one 1/2 or a full frozen or non frozen banana 1-2 matcha green tea bags - toss the bags obviously use just the tea blend that till bananas are smooth then add 1 tbl melted coconut oil blend 10 seconds then 1 scoop protien powder gently blend and only for 5-10 seconds stop blending then add 6 ice cubes blend and stop then 2-4 dates remove the pit blend 10 seconds then 2 tbl upto 4 tble almond butter blend gently for 6-10 seconds - done that[s it it gets too fluffy if you blend it too long at any point.mi really like it this way hope it helps those who bought it and are trying to find a way to get it down.

Great Taste but!

The plant fusion is one of the better tasting plant proteins that is tweaked with additional amino acids for a reasonable price, all good so far. However, 2 issues should be remembered before using, the first being that for some reason they add fructose as a sweetener. It is hard to imagine why they think this is a good idea. While there is no information regarding the amount of fructose added, it may well undo any health advantages of plant protein. The second is that there is no guarantee of organic ingredients. This opens up the possibility of cheaply sourced imported products with poor quality control, and potential concerns over pesticide residues and heavy metals. A real shame as this product could be a winner.

Mixes well, overpowering Stevia taste.

I feel this product would be perfect for me if it did not contain so much stevia. No matter what I mix it with, the aftertaste is too overpoweringly artificial sweet/bitter to take on a daily basis. I would not purchase again.

Love it!

The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I do not think that it tastes as good as the VEGA products, but for the price it can't be beat.
