100% Organic green tea is of light and delicate flavor. High in anti-oxidants (EGCG) and minerals. Unique quality tea from the cradle of green teas in China.
Organic Sencha Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) is a high grade green tea from the Jiangxi province of China, famous for its green teas. Our Sencha tea is high in flavonoids – called catechins and principal active component of EGCG (epigallocatechins gallate and Flavone C glycosides). Sencha is a light and delicate green tea, the choice of discriminating consumers.
For the best results use spring water or filtered water. Heat water just below the boiling point (180 F). Use one teaspoon of tea per cup (approx. 8 fl oz) and steep for 1 and 1/2 minutes. Serve strain and at safe temperature. Use proportionally to make a larger amount of tea. Enjoy the unique flavor of this high quality, healthy organic tea.
Organic camellia sinensis.
I drink a lot of Japanese Sencha tea and I guess you get what you pay for - this one is cheap compared to most. It comes from China not Japan which I wouldn't have expected to make much difference if the tea bush is the same, but it does. This just tastes like any green tea with the addition of a slight metallic taste. There is no way I would have identified this as Sencha - which to me has a very distinctive flavor. My bag went in the trash. I agree with the other reviewer - Starwest tastes far better.
Not bad, not super awesome. On my second purchase.

This is pretty good...I've found each brand tastes slightly different. I tried the more expensive brand here on iherb, and it was 'o.k.' as well, but not imho any better than this one, especially not enough to merit being 30% more expensive. So yeah - this is a decent brew for a decent price. Haven't found a better one.
