Rainbow Henna Coats each hair's shaft with color. Smooths and seals the hair's cuticle for greater shine. Texturizes hair and gives it body. Blends naturally. Fades gradually. Lasts 4-6 weeks.
Henna is an alternative to chemical hair colorings that are controversial to health considerations. Henna comes from small shrubs, called Lawsonia, that are native to the Middle East, West Asia, and North Africa. The leaves are dried and then pulverized to a fine powder. Rainbow chooses only the finest grade Henna.
Pour 4 oz (1 cup) Rainbow Henna into a glass or plastic bowl. Gradually add 1 cup boiling water. Use a wooden or plastic spoon to mix thoroughly to a creamy consistency. (More liquid can be added if mixture is too thick.) For Rainbow Neutral Henna, mix 2 oz (1/2 cup) with 1 cup boiling water.
Light brown henna - cassia obovata, lawsonia inermis, indigofereae.
For external use only.
Store in a cool, dry place. Filled by weight. Do not use in the area of the eye or if scalp has open cuts. Not for use on bleached or white hair. A strand test should be done if hair is over 10% grey.
I must say that even though it was a huge mess to apply it and to rinse it out, my hair looks incredible. My hair is naturally curly and with a light brown base and golden and almost white highlights, very dry, brittle, dull and unhealthy looking, after trying everything there is to recover the life of my curls I gave this product a try, and I must say that I love it, my hair is shinny, less dry and much more improved. I follow all the steps, I even mixed it with the tea, vinegar and olive oil as recommended. Highly approved by me .
the best henna product here YES YES YES! that's amazing product! It really made my hair so bright and silky! I have dark brown hair and this color chestnut makes my hair darker! I want try more colors, hair looks gorgeous The color was dark

I've never used henna, so didn't know what to expect. ...it's really good. I have light brown hair, so I didn't notice the difference. But need to say that after usage of this henna, my hair is far more shiny. Love it!

I'm probably the only one here who didn't find the process of applying henna messy at all! I mixed it with green tea and added a bit of yogurt because I have dry hair. I applied it on damp and lightly oiled hair (with coconut oil). My natural hair color is ashy brown and this henna gave my hair a bit of yellowish color which faded after a couple of washes, but I was left with lovely golden highlights afterwards. My hair also felt much sleeker and softer.
Doesn't cover grays

I tried it so many times. I followed the instructions and didn't work, I did some research about henna and tried at least 5 different ways and didn't work. It's also very messy, it's difficult to spread it and then to wash it out. I've used henna before and it wasn't so complicated. I won't order it again

Have used this product three times now. I mix n match with other colours, like neutral and blonde...and still my hair picks up the red, however the neutral does tone it down. Also, use coffee liquid and maple syrup and macadamia oil and an egg and apple cider vinegar added to the henna powder, and the colour certainly does stick! Its fun to be able to mix n match, and then wonder what colour tone you will get at the end...and this is usually some reddish form, especially on the grey and white bits.
