You may ask, why the name, Earthpaste? It's a simple answer, really. All the ingredients in Earthpaste are from the earth. Earthpaste won't be what you are used to because it is completely natural with very few ingredients. We don't add titanium dioxide to make it white, nor do we add any foaming agents. Earthpaste is natural in color - it's how toothpaste should be. We keep it real.
As a company, we have looked for a great toothpaste for us and our kids, but have never found it - so we made our own. We use Real Salt and hydrated Redmond Clay, and have added Xylitol and essential oils. That's it. Nothing more. We hope you enjoy Earthpaste as much as we do!
Wet brush before applying. For best flow, stand tube upright.
Purified water, food grade redmond clay, xylitol, peppermint essential oil, menthol, redmond real salt, tea tree oil.

I'm a huge fan of Redmond Clay. That said: I have sensitive teeth (my gums are slightly recessed), but it's never been so bad that I can't use regular toothpaste. I was pretty excited to get this, but after 5 days of denial, it had caused extreme sensitivity in some of my teeth. I haven't used it for about 3 weeks, and they are still a little sensitive, although not as EXTREMELY painful as they were for a few weeks there--I got a little scared that I had done some permanent damage. My husband is using this now, with no problems, but I wouldn't recommend this if your teeth are like mine. If you do, use with caution and stop at the first hint of sensitivity. Hope this helps someone.
Bought this on reviews that it does not contain harmful chemicals. The back of the tube reads, "WARNING: This product contains trace amounts of lead, a substance known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Thus product may not be appropriate for consumption by children or pregnant woman. " I was totally shocked halfway brushing and reading it. I am disappointed that while it advertises it is free of this and that, it contains "traces" of lead enough to cause harm to children or pregnant women.
Will keep buying

My son who doesn't rinse his mouth well has been using this product for a few years. The smell is refreshing and it gives me peace of mind that it is natural and non toxic. Because of the clay, it cleans teeth very well.

I dont recommend this toothpaste. At the back of the package is 'trace of lead' . Not good for children and pregnant women. This will never be good.
A little gritty for me

I am not overly impressed with this toothpaste. It is unlikely I will buy again.
