Renew Life, Ultimate Flora, Critical Care, 50 Billion, 60 Veggie Caps
By Renew Life50 Reviews
Expiration Date: Jun 2016
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
Shipping Weight: 0.47 lbs (0.21 kg)
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

Superior Health Begins in the Digestive System
More than 70 percent of our body's natural defenses are found in the digestive tract, where beneficial flora called probiotics work to:
Probiotics in the Digestive System
- Promote Regularity
- Help Restore Digestive Balance
- Enhance Natural Defenses
- Crowd Out Harmful Microbes
High Bifido for Optimal Benefits
Bifidobacteria are the most prevalent type of good bacteria in a healthy colon (or large intestine). They play a vital role in promoting digestive health and supporting the body's defenses.
In middle age, our level of Bifidobacteria declines. This has been linked to increased digestive disorders and a decline in overall health. Ultimate Flora Critical Care 50 billion contains 30 billion Bifidobacteria to replenish healthy flora and more closely represent the ratio of Bifido to Lactobacilli found in the digestive system.

iHerb Customer Reviews
iHerb does not refrigerate this product, so it gets subjected to high temperatures in transit, especially during the hot weather months. The product says to store below 73 degrees, but iHerb tells you it is fine when you call their customer service. Every respectable scientific review says that live bacteria should not be subjected to high heat for maximum viability. Buy this and other probiotics from respectable retailers who refrigerate it. I have spent $747 with iHerb since May, and they still won't bother to do what is called for in shipping.
I take this because I am trying to rebuild my stomach enzymes and help my neurotransmitters (since our small intestine is our "second brain"). I recently stopped taking my antidepressants to get ready to try for a baby. Between this and the fish oil I've been taking, no depression has returned. I am doing very well!
